David Muir, an American journalist, anchoring the ABC News magazine 20, is best known for his role as anchor of World News Tonight With David Muir. One of the most watched news programs across America features his dramatic show that features gossip about celebrities motion-animated gestures and clips. He is also known for the Emmy-nominated series Made In America. Prior to his appointment as anchor of ABC World News Tonight he was the main substitute anchor for his predecessor Diane Sawyer. The primetime newscasts for ABC News include Breaking Point: Heroin in America, Flashpoint Refugees and America. He has covered news around the world, including Gaza Egypt Iran Somalia Japan Peru Ukraine Haiti. He's received several Emmy Awards Edward R. Murrow Awards along with honours and prizes from the Associated Press.
