Sue Bird is a basketball American player. She plays professionally for Seattle Storm. Seattle Storm Women's National Basketball Association WNBA. She has been a member of the Seattle Storm's three different WNBA-championship-winning squads. Sue Bird, a native New Yorker, is an Israeli citizen through the birth of her father. Her birthplace is New York, but has become an Israeli citizen through her father. Her interest in sport was evident since a young stage of her life. She was also involved with soccer, tennis and track and field. In her first and second years, she played for Syosset High School. She then moved from Syosset High School to Christ the King Regional High School for the opportunity to play in a competitive setting. Sue Bird attended University of Connecticut, where she played on the UConn Huskies basketball team. They were able to win two NCAA Championships.
